[REL] Osudenny After The Fire Set

http://www.mediafire.com/?lmw3fmnrmhm

Osudenny After The Fire Set

This set cam about that I like the way it looked when it wasn't burning. It looked like a burnt home with skeltons or ghost inside. I thought it would be great for a theme setting.

Also if you wanted to spread the fire out in the burning house set it is wall 1 textures.

There are 4 wall textures in this set. with the usual 1h thru 4h, window and 3 doors. Also some broken walls.

The rooves are 1h

I hope you enjoy this set. Alot of possibilities with it.

Denny

Texture for the floors

Texture for the rooves

Texture for wall 1

Texture for wall 2

Texture for wall 3

Texture for wall 4

I agree on some of your models, they do have that "tiled" appearance. Maybe you could stretch the texture a bit more. BTW this is not meant to be negative, because I think that most of your sets are fantastic.

I mean, by now you should have learned to use the texture properly, like bigger, so we can acctualy see the texture and not little squares on the model, see what i mean, there is a way to do that in sketchup. I think it would really improve your models, which are good so far but suffer from a lack of precision in the texture applying.

Spiderdusk can I see some of your sets?? I have made over 100 sets. http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=7...3856553fe058cc You are not seeing the textures clearly cause the scale in the pictures will not allow it. I was nice enough to add the textures so you can see them. And also so others could use them if they wish. Now can I see your work?? I want to see your perfect texture work?? Please?

Weber I seen your work so I will not take your comments in a bad way But to make it realistic in the game sometimes they don't come out the way you see them here. I agree some are tile looking but actually with the textures I am working with that is what your going to get. If you stretch wall 2 textures then the boards are way to large and with the floor textures if ou stretch them the grains in the wood does not look good at all.

I am sorry. Best thing I can say if you don't like it don't download it. But in the game it does look nice. What do you expect it is burnt??

Why are people so easyly fed up ?
I'm not doing bad critiscism but giving you advices for improvments.
You made a 100 sets, fin i only made 5,but i think it is the quality that counts not the amount. I agree you really are making alot of sets, some people might use them, good, you love what you're doing and that's all that matters.
But in my opinion, you do not spend enough time on each sets.
They could be 10 times bettre if you spend few hours learning how to apply the texture properly.
Oh, and you are right i won't download it, i don't nedd it and i don't think it was given the amount of work it deserved, too bad.

I think that a simple message cannot quite give the good impression of the tone the person is speaking to you, i'm not fed up or anything, i'm writing in a quiet, kind, state of mind, just so you know

If you'd like, i'll Pm some photos of how the walls texture should be apllied in my opinion.
Peace out, good night.

Peace out, good night.

I seen some of your work so I am not impressed. You have no idea how much I put into each set. No idea. Once I start I stay with it til it is done. Maybe 24 hours maybe more. Now this is with no breaks at all. I have time on my hands so I can do this. No work or school. Just time. So your comment about putting time into each set is way off base. To place textures on an object is no problem and I need not to learn from you. But thank you anyways. What kills me is when someones make 5 sets or pieces they are experts. Wow.

And like you I am not upset not at all. You also must realize when I make a set it is for me first and foremost. After that I share with others. So I am not making this for you. I hope you understand. My worst person to please is myself. If I don't please myself I will not release it to others.

If you want to pm me "your work" and not others fine I will take a glance. But if it isn't yours don't bother.

Now why people get fed up so easy is cause of people like you to tell me how much time to put in my sets when you have no idea exactly how much time I do. And I also could care less if you download it or not. Makes me no difference at all. Since you don't download it you will never know if it is deserving or not.

I do enjoy what I do and after I like it and only when I like it will I let others have it. Maybe now it is a good time to bow out after a person is telling me to put more time in my work that only made 5 sets. I just don't need this. If you had the stuff to back up your words it would be different. But you don't.

Sorry people but I think my designing days are over for now. Thank you to all that supported me and all the kind remarks and comments from all.

^thats right denny, stick it to them. Its Denny's set if you dont want to download it then thats your problem don't comment unless you want the set. You cant give negative comments like that about texture unless you see it up close.

Look in all seriousness, Denny is working flat chat making set after set, he is filling the void and doing a good job, there his sets and if you don't like them then tough, don't bother turning up. I can understand that you may feel jealous buy the amount of sets he has created but it just shows how committed he is and I know Denny would never rush a set.

Back on topic, nice set love the smoking pieces and good idea for sharing the texture so others can add there own ideas if the want.

I hope you rethink your comment above about no more sets. It would truly be a shame. I atleast hope you keep designing for yourself if not the community. Dont let something like this stop your designs.

You know there is really no need to flame Denny. I think he does some really cool stuff. BTW, I like the roof texture. I was thinking cool textures-then I came down to someone putting down his work. That's just not right...

Keep em' coming Denny. One day I wish I had as much time on my hands to play RCT3 as you have time to make sets.

Awe man......did somebody just run another great CS Maker out of here!? FOWL.....VERY FOWL dude. What the hell? If anybody in the world he (Denny) would take advice about resizing textures it would probably be me and other known CS Makers, not a 5 set wonder maker.......I am not complaining about any of his sets, nor going to. If I see something that seems out of place, I kindly give advice to what he could do, not what he has to do....now back on topic. Denny my friend, your years at building CS sinse rct2 days up to now is just remarkable. You actually deserve to take a break. (as i am now) I know you will be back, I will PM~email~call you from time to time like usual. Great set, once again! Always a pleasure to help you, and seeing new sets you come out with! Good luck my friend!

If you put miles of effort into each set you make that is stupid!

Make the set they way that YOU want it. Not the way WE want it.

You might think it's not had that much effort done for it spiderdusk. Well fine. But if you want a set like this up to your standards you do it your way OK?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I like his sets.
I have used his sets. I have downloaded all of his sets.
Some I may never use. Some I may just use one thing from the set.
But that one thing is what may make my park truly great.
I'm sure there are many people that wouldn't think of putting a burnt wall in their park. They won't download it, and they won't tell you they didn't like it. They just wait QUIETLY until the next set comes out . Now I'll give some constructive criticism .
Make what you like. make it how you like. never mind if someone else doesn't like it. remember for every person that doesn't like it , there are 100 that do but never open their mouth and tell you.
so keep up the good work...... Don't let them get to you.

I never even thought about making this set til I already released the other. It might of been easier but I needed to know that I was going to make this before I released the other. I of course didn't know I was goint to make this. Thus you get this product instead.

Your English if fine Smolly, just fine. sorry

Denny's sets are very useful and well done. I made some buildings and restaurants that if Denny's cs doesn't exists, it will not be so cool and detailed as they are now. Denny gave us tons of tools. It's up to us, park makers, to select the right ones to the work that we wish. For example, I personally don't apreciatte much their fountains with characters, but I simply don't use them. Use your creativity, and you will realize that every CS (even a Splash Mountain cs made by a novice) has its utility.
Denny: Take your time buddy. If you really decide to stop CSing (no, please!), you have done so much to this community up to now, and your work is remarkable.

BTW: I liked the cs. And youre right: they look cool ingame.

Peace. Respect.

Your English is pretty good, all though it reads as though you were from Kentucky (state) because of the word "ain't".

Well obviously i'm the only one seiing a problem in your textures. May have something wrong with my eyes.
I see people are very attached to your sets so good for you, as for the fact i only made 5, as i said only quality matters not ammount, and i spent a week per set, trying to achieve quality.
I would also be interrested in knowing how you could have cheked up what i did so far as i never posted any of my sets on this forum.
Anyway, my purpose was not to take down all your work nor to make you quit cs-creating (or whatever it is called)
I see that my comments where taken way too much personnaly by everyone supporting this thread and thta may have been because of the mess that went few weeks ago with all those CS-creators coming.
As long as you have fun in making your sets, it's cool.

We got a bit too far on this, my first message's purpose was to tell you i thought there was a better way to apply the textures on the model, because they seemed a bit weird to me. I don't think with to argue that far on this and go again on the "i'll leave the community/please don't go" thing.I didn't think i will trigger such a debate with my first post, so sorry for the mess.

Good day, evening,or morning whatever place you are.

So a week is how long you need to work on something to make quality?? And how long have you been making CSO?? You don't need to leave the community but if you make a statement then you better be able to back your words up.Yes I did check around looking for your sets. I found 1 that was started here and was never finished. Besides that I have seen nothing. I know just about all the designers. I checked Shyguy's site nothing, Vodhin's site nothing. I have been making CSO since the year of 2000 starting with RCT2. If you come into this community show work your first before you come accross like you know everything about CSO.

No by all means you don't need to leave. But people did back me up cause I think I earned my stripes. Earn yours.
