[REL] Swinging Mine, Tractor Ride and Carnaval Festival

Hi!

I've been busy in the last days. This is what I was working on:

Swinging Mine
This ride swings from side to side (at least in the non-tilted curves). It uses a tracked mixed with pieces from the Spinning Wild Mouse and Mini Coaster. Of course it has animated restraints but this one needed animated doors too. The turn-axis-values I used are not perfect and need to be improved. I will try different values. Maybe the track pieces will change too in the future. I had to get rid of the 3x3 non-tilted curve because there is no button for it anymore. If you want single cars, click the switch cars button. Somehow it was impossible to use a single car of the whole train. Please keep a big bucket or medical station near the exit ready when you build sharp curves.

Old McDonalds Tractor Ride
This ride is based on the Old McDonalds Tractor Ride from Fort Fun in Germany. These two are the only pics I found: *Clickety click click*
I wish the proportions of my cars would match with the real ones. But they look cuter somehow. Maybe it's because of their peep sizes. Mmh, yes, probably ... I blame RCT3. :P

Carnaval Festival
No, it's spelled correctly. There is a darkride in De Efteling (Netherlands) which is called like that and it's one of the few rides I have ridden in my life. I really like it so I created this CTR. The special thing about it: It uses the RoboCoaster interface to rotate the cars (the bottommost buttons is for the rotation, the others do nothing). And since it doesn't have such ugly wooden tracks but a carpet floor with a gutter in the middle, I had to recreate that with a CSO. It contains parts for every track piece. Billboards and terrain pieces. Use the billboards to put a carpet texture on it (I packed two of them into the download) or another texture. The terrain pieces use the texture of the ground. But that's not enough. If you don't to fill a whole tile with the trackcover, use the B-Versions to cover only the track (for example if you want to use Mr PKI's Coaster Tunnels (I haven't tried it yet)). The Carnaval Festival design of the cars probably don't fit with the style of your ride, so I created a plain color version too. Medical warning: Do not watch any videos of the real ride otherwise you will be humming the melody of it's soundtrack for days!

IMPORTANT:
It happend to me sometimes that the game crashes while I was editing the track (especially the rotation) or while changing the cars. SAVE before doing that. I'm not responsible for any park and time you lose!!!!

I absolutly love all of these CTRs, the swinging mine cart looks incredible and unique and the dark ride looks phenomenal. It will surely be extremely useful. I can't stress it enough on how much I like the bottom cars.

For the tractors, mabey you could add haycarts in the back and have 1 person up front. That way a haunted hayride can be constructed. Also, I DEFINANTLY will use Carnaval Festival. It will be AWSOME! Mabey you could also make the ones like this and this. I just really hope you could do the first, mabey even one with that little design?

Hello DasMatze, I see you create awesome CTRs and I really want them. However, when I go onto your site, I receive a http 403 forbidden from bplace.net. I think there must be something wrong with your server.

Or maybe I can't get onto your site with my Hong Kong IP no. and yes, I've tried this with several computers. All of them received the forbidden message.

Whoa! I love the doors on the mine carts. The animation on those is sweet. I never would have thought of something like that. Also, that omnimover type ride is wicked cool.

Problem with the Carnaval Festival..

I know you said it will crash. but i cant even use the ride. As soon as i put down the first station it crashes. Do i have it in the right folder? //tracks/tracked rides ?

I think you got the wrong maps indeed,Read the readme carefully , Make sure u put the right maps in the right folder

It seems like the Efteling is the most inspirational park for firsts. The first madhouse, now the first turnable darkride ride. I can completely understand why it's such an inspirational park.
Anyway, great ctr's. Like always. The idea to make it turnable... you knew exactly what every one wanted.

^^It isn't because de Efteling is very inspirational. All CFRs/CTRs created that are also in de Efteling can be found in other parks too. So the fact that all firsts are all from de Efteling is because de Efteling has a big variety of rides with special rides. I can't wait to see someone making something like Droomvlucht

I have a question. What is the bones in sketchup if you want a rotation like that and free rotation like on the carnival and your gerstlauer spinner
