Flintstones CTR by Vodhin (Released) & Scenery by MGP2300

Just something I put together this afternoon

This Image Was Automatically Resized by using the Shot Tag. Click to view the full version

I'm planning to do Barney's car next, then a few other car types from the cartoon series. maybe someone out there would like to make a set of houses and plants to go with this set (O.S. comes to mind ).

With a little work a Flintstone house wouldn't be too hard.

Vodhin has already released the Flintstones cars in the Middle East, Dubai don't approve. But Abu Dhabi do...

I'm far too funny! The car looks very nice sir, I have no criticism!

hey all, thanks for the compliments.

MGP2300, that's looking very close to what I had in mind. If you want reference pics, these two blogs have a nice set of pictures in them:

http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/2007/...s-between.html
http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/2006/...intstones.html

I personally think the best way to make a "good enough" Bedrock set would be to make individual buildings that are complete "shells" - 4 walls and a roof. I was thinking 3x3 and 5x5 sizes. doors on front and side would alow you to add rooms, and if the roof is the right thickness and at the right height (in the 4 unit high range), you could stack them to make multi-level.

To round out the set, a few fence types (rock wall, wooden wall) and some path items would do nicely. Anyone willing to make the models is welcome to, and we'll figure out how to get them together into one set later (probably just run em through the importer and then gather all the finished OVLs for a new theme).

More To Come

I looked up a couple of pictures already , but I will check those out , I just threw that together real fast but like I said ,a little work and it could look good. I may spend a little time on this and put something together. I was thinking exactly the same thing , 3x3 or 4x4.

Actually, look for "The Flintstones the swimming pool" on you tube. Probably one of the best episodes and simplest buildings and props...

If I set the peep seating position to the same one used as the pedal cycles, then it might look like they are using their feet to push it along

Quick update: improved textures, a little more detail on the wheels, and the entire vehicle scaled down a little bit.

That still just kills me , That looks so cool/funny , I always loved watching the Flintstones when I was a kid. I don't know if the pedal bike thing would work but I bet it would be funny if it did!!
